Connecting PaperclipAI
PaperclipAI is a content generation and SEO optimization agent that integrates directly with SiteX CMS via the API.
Setup Overview
- Create a dedicated API key in SiteX (see API Key Management)
- Assign Content Publisher permissions
- Log into your PaperclipAI dashboard
- Navigate to Integrations → CMS Connections
- Select SiteX CMS from the list
- Enter your site URL and API key
- Click Test Connection to verify
- Save the integration
Configuration in PaperclipAI
After connecting, configure these settings in PaperclipAI:
- Default content type - Article, blog post, or top list
- Default category - Where to publish new content
- Auto-publish - Publish immediately or save as draft
- Image handling - Upload featured images via the media API
- Scheduling - Content publishing schedule

Troubleshooting
| Issue | Solution |
|---|---|
| Connection test fails | Verify your site URL includes https:// and the API key is correct |
| Permission denied | Ensure the API key has Content Publisher permissions |
| Content not appearing | Check if auto-publish is enabled, or find drafts in the admin panel |
| Rate limit errors | Reduce publishing frequency or increase the key's rate limit |
